At Least Read My Quotes!

Recently, local television station Boston 25 News ran a piece about a video someone posted online of a coyote running around in the woods in our suburbs. Most of the piece was fine, except that the investigative journalist wanted to address whether coywolves were a real thing.

Well, I had seen that online post and video days before he did, and replied to the author that the beast captured was a coywolf. I then went on to say:

” That’s a coywolf – a hybrid of coyote, wolf, and dog (hence why some poeple call them “coydogs”). They’re smaller than most types of wolves, but bigger than most coyotes. He also has more of a wolf coloring, but because of the varied DNA they can appear the regular coyote orange or red, or even dark (even black). Watch out for your own small pets, even on a leash! “

Take a look at the video the journalist ran here.

Immediately after I said that a coywolf is actually a hybrid, he made it seem like I didn’t know they were hybrids, even though that was the entire point of my post. In fact, I said more about them than the experts did.

It’s like he didn’t even read what I wrote.
