When we think of Andre Roussimoff many images come to mind: WWF champion wrestling persona Andre the Giant, Fezzik in The Princess Bride, and even Bigfoot in those famous episodes of The Six Million Dollar Man.
But have we ever imagined him as a teenager?
I found this YouTube video aired in France in 1966, a month before Andre turned 20. It’s really interesting seeing a skinny, yet huge, G.I.T. (Giant in Training).
