My second book, “The United States Vampire Service,” is the sequel to my first book, “Vikings, Vampires, and Mailmen.”

Vikings, Vampires, and Mailmen is in its second printing with a new cover.

The United States Vampire Service is the pseudonym for a secret government contractor that exterminates vampires. For generations, this brotherhood has put their lives on the line to keep the general populace safe and unaware of the potential dangers that imperil them every day.

Book #1 is about an outbreak of undead in Alabama threatens to become an epidemic, Chief Othniel O’Connor and his fistful of men have to stop it before more innocent lives are lost. The discovery of a strange, ancient Viking chamber compounds the problem, and the USVS is forced to reach out for help, only to discover that sometimes vampires aren’t the most malevolent force that must be defended against. This is a story about a fellowship of fighters and friends- of their loyalty, sacrifice, and determination to battle for good in the face of evil. With its combination of action-adventure, military fiction, and sci-fi, Vikings, Vampires, and Mailmen is a story that will appeal to a multitude of readers.

The sequel has some new characters, even more action, and maybe even a love interest.

Book #2 is about when they are called to investigate a suspicious attack on a US Naval officer in Newport, Rhode Island, they find themselves thrown into an international incident. Dignitaries from across the world are being targeted in vampire attacks, which is impossible because vampires can’t reason, nor hunt specific targets.

Or can they?

Chief Othniel O’Connor and his team return in this non-stop action adventure. Fans of horror, military fiction, and sci-fi will appreciate The United States Vampire Service for its historical accuracy, witty banter, and the treatment of vampires as the disgusting, vile creatures they have always been.
