| Well GM wasn’t doing it, so somebody had to. |
I got a call today from advertising godfather Harry Webber today, and no, he wasn’t calling to interview me for his famous web site, MadisonAveNew.com. It turns out the hall of famer is about to get in GM’s face, and he was calling to let me know in no uncertain terms that I was going to help.
See, when a guy like Harry Webber finds you and tells you you’re going to do something, you say, “yes.”
Harry has started a movement to get the best ideas in the country into the hands of the folks over at GM. The web site for the effort, WeOwnGM.com, is a place where people can upload their ideas on how GM can be a better company. Harry’s logic is simple: now that the federal government bought such a large share of the company, we, the American people, quite literally own GM.
As Harry points out — it’s now in our own financial best interests to make sure these guys do some amazing things in order to help our economy.
