I Am Responsible For Childhood Obesity

Are your kids really fat, or are they just expressing themselves in horizontal ways?

Adrants founder and ad genius Steve Hall recently asked on his new online community, AdGabber.com, who is responsible for childhood obesity.

At first, I didn’t have much of an answer. But as I thought about it, I realized that I was personally responsible for childhood obesity. Did I do something wrong back when I left college to be a high school teacher? Nope. I was also a swimming coach, and I made the kids lose lots of weight, so that wasn’t it. So what was it?

I figured that admitting I was at fault would simply be a great way to drive traffic to my blog, so I fessed up to it. I’m not sure how I am responsible for childhood obesity, but I am. So please, let’s stop blaming the Nintendos, and the teachers, and the kids, and the Snickers bars.

Blame me. I make your kids fat, and am honored to be allowed to do so.
